Grey cotton trousers cut on a five-pocket jean pattern, with the outside of each leg gathered into dense vertical ruching that runs from the hip all the way to the hem, so the fabric ripples and the leg reads as textured rather than flat. The front is plain with a zip fly, a single button and belt loops, and the back carries two patch pockets over a smooth seat. The cloth is a crisp, dry cotton poplin that holds the gathers.
