The top is a cropped off-shoulder blouse in fine lightweight cotton with a wide ruffled frill around the elasticated neckline, repeated at the cuffs of the gathered three-quarter sleeves, and a shirred band at the hem. The matching mini skirt has a flat embroidered eyelet yoke at the waist and a body built from tiered rows of floral guipure lace, each tier edged in a scalloped frill so the hem sits full and stepped. Both pieces are worn together as a set.
